David Brown Automotive Promises New Grand Tourer Soon
David Brown Automotive is teasing a new car coming to the Geneva Motor Show, which the company promises will be its most performance-focused vehicle ever.
Hopes are high for this unnamed grand tourer, although it has been said that it will follow the footsteps of Aston Martin DB5 aping Speedback GT. There’s no word yet, however, as to what the inspiration will be for this new upcoming model, although people predict it might be from another classic brought into the 21st century.
The teaser photo shows very little, but reveals the badge and a more “aggressive design language.” It’s going to be a precious piece of art as it will be hand built at David Brown’s Silverstone headquarters, and that it will “absorb the location’s famous racing and aeronautical heritage into the car’s high-octane pedigree.”
“This is something that we’ve been looking forward to doing since launching Speedback GT and I can’t wait to reveal more,” company founder and CEO David Brown mentioned. “With its unprecedented levels of performance, this vehicle allows the David Brown Automotive brand to appeal to our existing customers, and new customers alike. The car brings yet another exciting opportunity for our company.”
