2015 Kia Sportage Gets an Upgrade

The first spy photos of the updated Kia Sportage SUV are here. While it is under heavy camouflage on both the front and the back, the car reveals some noticeable changes. For starters, the daytime running lights have been moved from the front bumper's side intakes right into the headlights, which may be drawing inspiration from the Stinger's light clusters.

Both the front and back bumpers are expected to get a design overhaul, such as the lights having a new and improved aesthetics. Another thing consumers can expect to have an upgrade is the car’s interior as well as its safety equipment, considering the fact it was first introduced in 2015. The 2017 version had a five-star rating from IIHS, with only the headlights having a bad review.

As far as its drivetrain, everything is still up in the air, except there are some speculations regarding a 48-volt mild hybrid.
